Abstract

Modern web design has moved beyond static pages, visual layouts, and form-based interaction. Users now expect websites to understand questions, respond quickly, support accessibility needs, and guide them through services with less effort. Voice-enabled web design supports this shift by allowing users to speak naturally, receive immediate guidance, and complete tasks without relying only on typing, clicking, or long page navigation. This systematic literature review examines voice interfaces, conversational web systems, customer-support chatbots, accessibility standards, trust requirements, and legal-service use cases. It uses Heyeve.ai as a contextual case to study how a voice-enabled assistant can support website navigation, client communication, legal training, mock trial practice, and professional consultation flows. The review shows that hybrid voice-enabled interfaces can reduce interaction effort, improve access for users with visual or motor barriers, increase engagement, and provide a clearer first layer of guidance before human professional involvement. The paper also introduces a research-driven evaluation framework based on eight dimensions: conversational quality, usability, trustworthiness, accessibility, user engagement, responsiveness, contextual awareness, and multimodal integration. The comparative evaluation indicates that a hybrid voice-enabled model performs more strongly than traditional web, chatbot-only, and voice-only interfaces because it combines speech, text, visual content, and guided actions in one user experience. For legal and professional platforms, the paper recommends clear ethical boundaries, privacy safeguards, transparent system disclosure, human oversight, accessibility testing, and continuous evaluation. The results also show, however, that there are still some challenging areas to be addressed such as the accuracy of PAL to use in noisy environments, the privacy issues of voice data collection, and the need for more complicated error recovery. It offers a theoretical perspective with the proposed framework to evaluate any website that depreciates Voice technology and practical recommendations for any web designers and developers that want to incorporate voice interface.
