Gouty arthritis is a painful inflammatory disorder characterized by elevated uric acid levels, leading to crystal deposition in joints. Several medicinal plants are traditionally used for their effective management due to their anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and uric acid-lowering properties. Suranjan Shirin (Colchicum autumnale) contains colchicine, which reduces inflammation and prevents crystal-induced damage. Zingiber officinale (Zingiber officinale) demonstrates potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that alleviate joint pain and swelling. Post-Halela Zard (Terminalia chebula) supports detoxification and helps regulate uric acid levels. Elwa/SabarSaqootri (Aloe barbadensis) contributes anti-inflammatory and soothing effects. Together, these plants offer promising natural support for the management of gouty arthritis.
