Antibiotic resistance has become an important threat to global well-being. Although the fact that antibiotics transformed medicine by eliminating severe infections, decades of improper use, prescription drugs, and widespread application in agriculture have increased resistance.Through concealing pathogens from immune system reactions and pharmaceuticals, the creation of biofilm improves bacterial survival which results in persistent infections. Prolonged illnesses, increased stays in hospitals, higher medical expenditures, and an increase in mortality constitute each part of the accompanying clinical impact.Resistant infections constitute a threat to established medical methods, destabilize health systems, and restrict the advancement of public health worldwide. Strict stewardship, evaluation, alternative antimicrobial approaches, and general awareness are all required to tackle this obstacle and preserve the beneficial effects of antimicrobial drugs for future generations.
