Employee satisfaction serves as a vital determinant of productivity, engagement, and the overarching success of an organization. Current academic discourse increasingly emphasizes the intersection of effective leadership and job satisfaction, noting that a healthy workplace environment not only bolsters employee well-being but also drives institutional efficiency while reducing operational costs. Methodology: This study employed a descriptive cross-sectional design to evaluate job satisfaction levels among the faculty at Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology (SUIT), Peshawar. Data were gathered from 154 participants using a non-probability convenience sampling technique. The sample demographics revealed a predominantly male faculty, with 148 male and 6 female respondents. Results: The findings indicate that a significant majority of the faculty members are satisfied with their roles. The analysis identified several critical pillars of satisfaction within the university setting: fair compensation, the cultivation of a positive organizational culture, and the implementation of effective, transparent communication. A supportive work environment, underpinned by robust interpersonal communication, was found to be the primary driver of professional contentment. Conclusion: While these results align with global literature, they provide a specific, localized perspective on the academic environment in Peshawar. For university administrators, the practical implications are clear: to maintain a competitive and high-performing institution, leadership must prioritize equitable pay structures and foster a culture of open dialogue. Implementing regular feedback mechanisms and providing platforms for faculty to voice their professional insights are essential strategies for sustaining long-term institutional excellence.
